And like many of you, I’ve faced my share of challenges, from dealing with PCOS and being prediabetic to the daily excuses and distractions that come with raising little ones.
I realized that I needed to prioritize my health—not just for me, but for my son.

The Turning Point
You know that moment when everything just clicks?
For me, it was watching my Pepa no longer having diabetes after transforming his life.
His determination to change his lifestyle lit a fire in me.
I thought, “If he can do it, so can I!”
Also, I wanted to be a healthy role model for my son.
After all, we never know how much time we have, and I refuse to let neglecting my health keep me from fully enjoying motherhood.

- Intermittent Fasting & Hydration: I found success with 16:8 intermittent fasting. It helped me manage my eating without feeling deprived. Plus, drinking water before meals helps me feel full, so I don’t overeat. Simple yet effective!
- Mindful Eating: I started using smaller plates and utensils, which tricks my brain into thinking I’m eating more. It’s a little hack that makes a big difference, especially when you’re trying to stick to healthier portions.
- Fitness from Home: Let’s be real—getting to the gym can feel impossible some days! I embrace at-home workouts, where I can throw on my comfy clothes and still get my sweat on. No fancy equipment is needed!

When we make a big batch of food at the start of the week, we have healthier options ready to go.
