How God Helped Me Glow Up

This Mother’s Day, I can’t do this fitness thing alone. I need God. I’m sharing how inviting God into my health journey changed everything. Fitness became spiritual, rest became sacred, and I began glowing from the inside out. If you’re a mama trying to juggle it all, this is your sign to slow down, connect with God, and care for yourself—mind, body, and spirit.

Hey Beautiful Mamas,

You’ve shown up for everyone this week—your kids, your job, your home.

But now it’s time to ask: What did this week teach you about YOU?

Here’s my answer:
This week taught me I can’t do this fitness thing alone. I need God.

Fitness Is More Than Just the Body — It’s Spiritual

When we think of fitness, we often think of gym workouts, meal plans, and water bottles.
But I’m learning something deeper…
Fitness is spiritual.

When I connect with God and invite Him into my health journey, something changes.

I stop trying to be “perfect,” and I start moving with purpose.

I stop quitting, and I start trusting.

I stop fighting my body, and I start honoring it.

Let Me Be Real With You, Mama:

Being a mom is hard work. We give and give and giveeeeee.

But how often do we stop and pour into ourselves?

It’s easy to feel tired, bloated, moody, or unmotivated.

But that doesn’t mean you’re failing.

It means it’s time to pause… and partner with God.

This season, I stopped trying to do it all on my own.

Instead, I started showing up with God beside me.

Here’s what that looks like…

  1. I start my day with prayer and movement.
Even 5 minutes can reset your whole mood.
  2. I drink water like it’s a love language.
Because my body is a temple, and it deserves care.
  3. I speak life over myself every day.
“I am strong. I am loved. I am worth the time it takes to grow.”
  4. I rest without guilt.
God calls us to rest. That nap or bath isn’t lazy—it’s sacred.
  5. I make small, healthy choices.
No crash diets. No pressure. Just one step at a time with God leading.

God Cares About Your Glow Up

Mama, God wants you whole.

Not just skinny. Not just fit. But strong in spirit, mind, and body.

He’s not looking for perfection—He’s looking for surrender.

Let this Mother’s Day be the start of something new… a new gift to you

You don’t have to do this alone.
Let God walk with you.
Let Him strengthen you.
Let Him remind you—you are His masterpiece.

Final Thoughts:

So here’s your reminder, Mama:
You are allowed to glow.
Not because the world says so—but because God designed you for more.

Let’s glow up with God this season.
Let’s become better, together.

You got this.
One prayer, one step, one choice at a time.
